Happy Word Blitz is a language-learning application that generates fill-in-the-blank sentences using AI. By using the site you accept these terms. Happy Word Blitz 是一款利用 AI 生成填空句子的语言学习应用。使用本网站即表示你接受本条款。
The app plays audio, which uses mobile data. Practice sentences, the beginner courses and the listening pieces all play pre-recorded audio, so using Happy Word Blitz consumes network data. A sentence's audio file is roughly 20 KB; the app downloads only the sentence you are practising and the next one, never a batch or a whole library. As a rough guide, ten sentences is about 200 KB, and a listening piece of about ten minutes is a few megabytes. Accounts are identified by a system-generated user ID. You are responsible for saving your ID. You may set an optional password; once set, logging in and using the account requires it (we store only a salted hash, never the password itself). You may also bind a verified email to your account; the same email can then be used to recover the account — including resetting a forgotten password — on another device. Japanese handwriting recognition runs on your device: its matching method is adapted from KanjiCanvas (© Dominik Klein, MIT licence) and its character shapes are derived from KanjiVG (© Ulrich Apel, CC BY-SA 3.0; the derived data is shared under the same licence, see /hw/LICENSE.txt). We store your user ID, scores, remaining credits, the list of sentences you have learned (for review mode) and payment order records. If you upload a profile photo, a small cropped copy is stored and, after review, shown on the public world ranking next to your approved nickname or a partly hidden version of your user ID; your gender, if you choose one, is shown only to you. You may request access to, or deletion of, your data at any time via the contact email below. Your email is not stored in plain text. The email bound to your account is kept only as a one-way SHA-256 hash — a fingerprint from which the address cannot be read back, by us or by anyone who obtained our data. It is used only to check that an email you type belongs to your account (login, recovery, one free grant per email). While you verify an email, the address is held for at most 10 minutes so the code can be sent to it, then deleted. Two exceptions. An email you enter on an invoice request is kept, with the invoice title and tax number, only until the invoice has been emailed to you — then all three are deleted. And if you tick the box agreeing to receive our weekly learning summary and product news, we keep that address in readable form solely to send you those emails; unsubscribe any time in "Your account" and we delete it at once, keeping only the fingerprint. Speaking practice stays on your device. The 🎤 跟读 panel asks your browser for the microphone, and only while that panel is open. What you record is played back to you and drawn as a pitch curve in the page; it is never uploaded, never sent to any other company, and is discarded the moment you close the panel.
